Chinese Canadian Legends Award

People, East Asian, Asian Heritage

The Chinese Canadian Legend Award (CCLA) recognizes Chinese Canadians who have accomplished outstanding achievements in their lives and made valuable contributions to the world community. The Award was established in 2000 and is presented by the Chinese Canadian Legends Association. The event belongs to the community. Most of the members on the organization committee and in the selection committee are past award recipients who are also active members in the community. In 2008, the Honourable Dr. Vivienne Poy and Director Maureen Siu from Hong Kong Economic and Trade Office were Honourary Patrons.

The Virtual Museum of Asian Canadian Cultural Heritage (VMAACH) was made possible with the support of the Department of Canadian Heritage through the Canadian Culture Online Strategy.
